Toyota Tacoma Has Enhanced Safety Features

One of the reasons that the new Toyota Tacoma has gotten a lot of attention lately is due in part to all the safety features that it has to offer. The new Tacoma takes the midsize pickup truck segment and turns it on its head.

The new Tacoma comes with Automatic High Beams that are making driving at night that much safer. When the system detects a certain speed, the high beams come on. If a car is coming the other way, the system switches to low beams. When the car passes, it toggles the light back to high beams.

The Lane Departure Alert in the new Tacoma is designed to keep drivers alert when on the road. If the system detects the vehicle has begun drifting out of the lane, the steering wheel vibrations allow the driver to recognize a situation and take the appropriate action.
